Front Row — Privacy Policy

Front Row is a Shopify app that automatically hides out-of-stock products (or moves them to the bottom of their collections) and brings them back when they're restocked. This policy explains what data the app accesses, what it stores, and why.
What we access
With your permission, Front Row accesses your store's products and inventory through the Shopify Admin API (scopes: read_products, write_products, read_inventory). It reads product status, tags, collection membership, and stock levels, and updates product status, tags, and collection order to do its job.
Front Row does not access customer personal data — no names, addresses, emails, or orders.
What we store
- Your store's
.myshopify.comdomain. - An offline access token issued by Shopify, used to call the Admin API on your behalf.
- Your app settings (which behaviour is enabled and the tag names you've chosen).
We do not store any customer personal data. Data is held in a Postgres database hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt).
Service providers
We use Vercel (application hosting) and Neon (database hosting) to operate the app. We do not sell or share your data with anyone for advertising or marketing.
Data retention & deletion
When you uninstall Front Row, we delete your access token and settings. We also honour Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks, including shop/redact, which purges all data we hold for your shop. Because we store no customer personal data, the customers/data_request and customers/redact requests have no customer data to return or erase.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that access additional data (for example, sales data for merchandising), we will update this policy and the requested permissions before doing so.
